67 R/T was running when I hooked up timing light off alt stud it shorted out and motor quit.
tried to restart just clicking, motor turns over when screwdriver used at solenoid but no spark when key on. All lights and accessories work except electric file pump
any help would be appreciated.

Thanks guys, fuseable links were good.
got a different alternater and it started!
must have shorted it out.
