Change Manifolds

Dylan - recommendation is to change

If you look on craigslist you can find a lot of SB mopar manifolds for cheap. I really like SB 340 manifolds, they are well rounded. The provided the performance, have a choke riser and are not too much yet not too little. Seems they run about $100

You should be able to find a decent carb as well. Both Holley and Carter provide a Mopar bracket extension for the kick down and the throttle bracket (http://www.summitracing.com/search/?...y%2020-7&dds=1)

Hope this helps

Here is a good read that should answer many of your questions.

Technically, no, you could get an 2 barrel to 4 barrel adapter plate, but you will be much better off with a new manifold.

Also. if you do go to a 4 barrel, be careful with the size (flow rate/cfm), meaning keep it fairly small, like around 600 cfm, unless you plan on doing other things to the motor.

Welcome aboard,

Archer

Dtwich90,I have a '73 340 manifold available.

Roneisele, also have a TQ that has been on the shelf for about 15 years, probably needs a rebuild,I will look for numbers if there is any interest in it. PM me for details.
