Lowering a '67 Fury 1

Wondering if anyone has experience with lowering a '67 C-Body (or maybe there is a previous thread you can point me to).

I was considering 3" blocks for the rear, and then cranking down the torsion bars 2" in the front (which should level it out). Is this a reasonable drop? Any pointers or gotcha's I should keep in mind?

Thank you!

Keep in mind that you may not be able to properly adjust camber in the front wheels if you lower the front by that much, and that you might get some bottoming-out of your suspension when going over larger bumps and potholes.

I had a couple cars which I lowered, and I did like the way they looked. But lowering them also had the effect of worsening their handling characteristics (which are not spectacular to begin with). If your car is not a daily driver, just something you play with on Friday nights or the weekends, lower away. But if you do drive the car a lot, go easy on how much you lower it.
