Sorry It took a little while before I could get the pictures. I have owned this car for the last 20 years and still haven't had the time to do something with it. The car was going to be a pro street car but the guy who had it before me lost his shop in a fire. He had the Volarie at the body shop or it would have been gone too. What do you think I should ask for the car. I traded a number of guns for it .

1977 Volarie I could use some advice.
Could you tell me what some of you think this car is worth? The flairs are from my stash of parts and I don't know what I should ask for them either. The Volarie has rechromed bumpers with a coat of wax on them, all the glass is here. The car is edged in black and there is one very small spot of rust on the edge of a door. Please give me some ideas. With 2 race cars and a 68 dart I will never get it done either.
Thank You
Thank You

well personally I've been looking for an aspen or volare for a while now, and I've found that most running and driving cars with minimal rust aint selling for more than $2000 if that. what engine/trans is in your car?

well, no offense, but I have no use for it. I'm kind of looking for a running/driving F body that i can just hot rod a bit. I would think you'd have to find some one who really likes those cars and is willing to tackle a project. If I had a place to keep it and an engine for it maybe.... but right now I have too many trucks (5) so I have no room wish I could help you more.

Thanks for asking about it. The body work was done at a shop that is very good. The frame has been reworked and if i remember right . The shop bill back in 1987 was something like $3400.00 . Its edged in black . It has been a dream and still is but I have to make some hard choices . I have 2 race cars, and my 68 GTS Dart that I have had since 1974. My age is against me when it comes to how much can I afford to do and still try and do a retirement . So 1 race car,the Volarie, and my 32 ft trailer all the hunting stuff I have from the last 30 years need to find a new home. It a very hard thing to have to do when its all been a Big Part of who you are. But thats life. I will be selling either the Cuda or the dragster.Thats going to be the hardest to let go of. If I dont get some time next season to run a car the 40 Pace will be going too, along with my Dulley. So thats the way things are, theres nothing wrong with the Volarie is just an old guy facing the facts.

I'm sorry to hear that. If I was able to tackle that kind of project or had someone to help me, I'd sure consider that volare. other than a bodies, f bodies are my favorite old mopars. How far is Plymouth from Milwaukee? Maybe I could stop by sometime and check out your cars. What exactly are you selling in terms of hunting stuff?

that is the meanest looking f body i have seen. its surprising to me that they have not caught on like the late 70's early 80's malibus. V8, rear wheel drive, relatively cheaper to own and start a project with

That car had a 340 in it with W-2 heads on it and it would pull about a foot -2 foot off the ground. The guy who had it then decided to make a pro street and go big block. The car has a bolt in roll cage ,frame conected and welded. Front frame is reinforced with a cross link under the eng. as well. This car is solid. No twisting going on. When it had the blue paint like the louver it was a mean looking car then. I think it needs a Hemi hood scoup on it and a little lower in the back. LOL I am going to get fired up over the darn thing again.

I wouldn't let my dad or wife stop me...I picked my Aspen over a 1971 Plymouth Scamp with a 340 in it...my way off plan is to stroke the 318 to a 390...good luck with your sale...I hope you get some good money for yours...
