8.0 liter gas V-10
Does anybody have any thoughts/info on turbocharging a Ram 2500 8 liter V-10, gas engine. I have a spare engine that I was thinking of building to support a twin turbo set-up. Thinking of using two Holset hw-35 turbos. Any thought/ help would be appreciated.

Welcome. What power level and end usage are you looking for? I have a '95 3500 manual 5 speed with the 3.55 gear. This truck can do whatever I want up to 4500 rpm, now that's truck stuff like towing and hauling.
My thoughts are supercharge and aftermarket computer control. That said these engines were designed stronger but for the torque and rpm limits for the engines end use. I see this engine as weak with old design valve train geometry for high rpm power. The crank, rods and pistons are just standard magnum design with more stuff flopping around with a longer stroke waiting to break if pushed too far with power adders and higher rpm's.
Parts for this engine are hard to come by or need to be custom. The fellas that pull with these engines have a ton of money in them.
I love mine the way it is and my spare when needed will be getting a stock rebuild with touch more in a custom cam.

Twin turbo Ram 8 liter V-10
I was considering using performance parts for a 360 since they have nearly the same stroke and the same bore size. Going with a custom ground cam, performance valve train components, and fabricate my own main cap girdle for a bit more bottom end stability. I'm also fabricating my own intake manifold for better air flow.

I'm liking your thinking. 360 forged pistons could work with the correct compression height and a dish, most will be out of the block with the aftermarket, make zero deck pistons.
Look up DSS pistons. I love fabricating stuff and spending too much time to make something unique and mine alone, just weird I guess.
