wheel bolt pattern for 72-93 D-100 (2wd)
I recently got a 1973 D-100 Club Cab (2wd) to use as a daily work truck. After getting it I liked it so much that I want to get a 2nd 73-93 club cab truck to build more as a show truck. I would like to be able to get a year that had the same bolt pattern as my 73 (5 x 4.5) However during my searches I have come across three different answers
1st - 1972-78 = 5 x 4.5 and 1979-93 = 5 x 5.5
2nd - 1972-1981 = 5 x 4.5 and 1982 - 1993 = 5 x 5.5
3rd -1972-1986 = 5 x 4.5 and 1987 - 1993 = 5 x 5.5
Can anyone tell me what one of these is correct

When I had my 85 D100 years ago, I remember the wheel pattern being more like a 5 on 4.5. Best this to do is measure what you have. At least that way there then, you'll have a starting point. From there, I would look on craigslist for those year trucks and just ask them what the bolt pattern is and/or head to your local junk yard and measure the trucks that they have there.
