intake and spark plug

hey everyone

I had 2 similar and unrelated questions

1 - does anyone have an opinion on a best spark plug for the 4.7 motor? I have heard numerous arguments for either copper or the newer iridium(?) anyone have a good experience with either?

2 - does anyone know how important it is to keep the resonator box on the intake - I understand it give a chamber for air to bounce into and even out and to quiet things. It sounds useful, but many of these "CAI" systems seem to want to remove them.
I was just wondering if anyone had an opinion on that too?

thanks again for all the help you give - it is greatly appreciated

Sean

I was thinking of removing the resonator part for a cold air type intake, but if it does not interfere with air flow, I may just add on from there with smooth pipe and bends.

I watched some video on those E3 plugs which was pretty interesting - but $6 plug is pretty steep.

Not needed.... Use a Std replacement NGK U Groove will work just fine....
You can do a fresh air intake it you like.... Not going to make that much more noise I dont think....
But thats just my 2 cents..
