Its Finally Home!!!!!

Got the body from paint on Friday afternoon..... We decided to leave the doors, front fenders and rear deck lid off until we get the other work done so we don't scratch anything..... Since its been home I have the interior back in it all but the dash and carpet.. I have a couple of brackets that mt under the dash so I'm waiting on them... The fuel cell and pump are mounted and so is the cut-off switch... Also the K-member is installed and the front wheel assys are also back on.... Making some progress and still working on it......

Progress seems to be very hard to find.... The week of vacation didn't work out like I planned. Took the wife on a trip to Tennessee to her sisters mountain cabin and attended my folks 60th wedding annivarsary party.. Got that done and thought I was going to get a bunch done on the car but my first cousin passed away and we made another trip back to Virginia for his funeral... So hasn't gone as well as I had planned.

Do have the fuel cell and pump installed and plumbed all but the overflow line outside the trunk. Have a special fitting ordered for the thru bulkhead. Fuel line and the return are run and fastened. The 1/0 starter wire and chassis ground are run to the front of the car. The K&R relay pannel is mounted and have started pulling wires from it.. Bothe the Fast EFI controler and the Fast ignition box are mounted on the dash bar that will fit under the dash.. Interior is about 90% installed. I lack the dash, seats and the new carpet.. K-member is back in and waiting on the front struts to install the rest of the front end. All the internal parts for the Dana 60 have been ordered and so have the shocks and springs... Both should be here by end of next week and that way I can set her on the ground.. Also have all the brake lines and fittings ordered so that can be done while on the spit...

Have a long weekend so hope to finish the wiring or at least get it all pulled and install the dash and carpet... That way next weekend hopefully can get it on the ground..

Made a little progress this weekend... Went to Gainesville with a friend... He is running my old full chassis Barracuda and has a Keith Black Alum. 500".... He ran a 5.93 at 116 in a 1/8th... Not too bad...

Worked on Sunday on the Challenger.. Photos below.....
