F is Ford type trans fluid. I remember even years ago It was suggested to use Ford type fluid in a modified TF

Guys .. A question
If i put 110 octane race fuel is good for my engine ??? Now i use 100 octane pump gas ,,,

RacerHog 05-06-2014 04:14 PM

Raffa.... You need to check the Total Octane... Not just the advertised Octane rating.... But if you use it and not have any detonation you will be fine. Keep a good eye on the plug reading...
:)

Oh... And did you see you WON the "Mopar Of The Mouth" on the site here !!!!!!!!!!! :)
Love the Web Site also Raffa...Looks great....http://www.2000motors.it/

Drag Pak 11-08-2014 04:43 PM

Raffa

That thing is coming along nicely.

There are some high 8 sec cars with that mph.

I think there are possibly some gains yet to be made.

What is your : Launch rpm
Torque Converter flash rpm
Maximum engine torque rpm
Maximum engine horsepower rpm
Trap rpm

That 60 ft might have room for improvement?

Maximum engine horsepower rpm 7300
Trap rpm trap??finish line rpm ? 7200

Rear end ratio 4.10
Tires MT 28-10,50-15
Tire pressure 10.5 psi
Best 60 ft 1,49

That 60 ft might have room for improvement?

RacerHog 11-09-2014 02:24 PM

Looking Great.. !!!!!!!!!!!

raffaplymouth 03-15-2015 08:27 AM

Im working for calculation of rear tires ...look like close ratio .. At finishline tachometer show 7300 rpm with 28 tires .. With 29,5 will be at 7000 !!

RacerHog 03-15-2015 10:08 AM

That should knock about 300 RPM off it........

I dont see 7300 Being a problem as long as the motor is still working up there.
But if your just looking to knock a few RPMs off the top... Then try the tire change.

But Some times, if this has not been a problem before? "Climbing in RPM" this could be the result of the Converter slippage....

:)

Question:.... Still has the 4.10 Rear Gear? and still running down in the 9.80 range?

hi Bob. .. I see now this .. Yes i have 4.10 ... You think is good drop to 29,5 tires ?

RacerHog 03-22-2015 02:55 PM

Yes.... That should bring the RPM Down 300 RPM.....

Bob you think 300 rpm down at finishline ??

xaza 03-24-2015 04:36 PM

That is one sexy machine. Congratulations on shattering your original goal. Look forward to watching this thread grow.

RacerHog 03-24-2015 06:43 PM

Yes... If going now at 7300RPM... The changes should go down to very close to 7000RPM... I think Very Close Raffa....

raffaplymouth 07-07-2015 09:02 AM

Raffa

Have you considered going with a radial slick.

The ones noted work well on a 10" rim into the low 8's in Stock Eliminator and they should fit your car easily.

Hoosier
18212 9.0/30.0R-15 Radial*** C 9.0" 29.9" 94.0" 8-10" 8" 11.0" C06

wow !!! very fast 60 ft !! but you dont have leaf springs

Drag Pak 07-08-2015 10:12 AM

Raffa

Going through some slips and I note a BS/A leaf spring Camaro at 1.337 - 60ft.

I would have to research it, but I believe there is a 1964 CC/SA 3800 lb Plymouth here in Div 6 that would be very close to me (60 ft and et.) as he has run with me.
