Angry 1976 Dodge Aspen with a severe hesitation problem

My Dodge has 313,000 miles, but the motor is good. The problem is severe hesitation most noticeable when the car is warmed up. Hesitation happens when pulling away from a stop and while on the highway, making it difficult to get speed. It happens all the time. Does not spit up through the carb.

New plugs, wires, electronic module, EGR valve, distributor cap and rotor, coil, had the carburetor rebuilt, tried a new rebuilt, and now a third carb off a wreck. Timing is on the mark @ 2 degrees BTDC, but I noticed a little bounce back and forth between the timing mark andthe pulley notch when shining the light. Checked emissions system (ES) for vacuum leaks. Also tested ES by blocking off EGR valve from manifold and plugging the line. Then together did the same with the Vacuum Amplifier by plugging all the lines to the carb and manifold. No improvement. Vacuum Switch working, closed when cold and open with vacuum when hot.

This car is driving me nuts. I welcome all suggestions. Thank you.

Has it had a new timing chain installed recently ? It sounds like the timing is off. There are some mis marked gear sets out there Back in 77 even before ethanol I use to run 10 degrees before in my Volare .. You have some type of vacuum leak
