440 in Desoto

Hello, new to this forum and trying to get information and ideas. I have a 46 Desoto that someone put a 283/powerglide combo in. Yeah, I know. They also did a C-rap job. I've bought a used rv 440 and 727 transmission that I want to put in it. Over the years, I've seen a few old Mopars with big blocks. I thought that these were just interesting oddities and never delved into the finer things that it takes to do one of these. Now, I'm going to be doing one. Anyone got ideas for motor/transmission mounts, etc. and lots of things. If you know someone who has done one of these put them in touch with me. I would love to talk to them. Thanks, Bob
