I'm certain that there are youtube videos that demonstrate exactly what you want to know.

Essentially, you'll need the usual suspects when it comes to tools (helpful tip, keep these items in a belt pouch or similar small tool bag for frequent access)
Phillips and Flathead screwdrivers
3/8ths size Ratchet Wrench
1/4 bit
3/8ths
7/16ths
10mm
11mm
12mm
13mm
Short extension
Long extension

and also your intake kit.

You will be removing your old air hose, air box, and filter. So be prepared to unplug a sensor (that probably clips on in a clever way that might require a flathead a screwdriver to undo).
Before anything happens at all, unpack your parts (especially the washers and screws!) And count that everything that is listed in the build of materials section in the instructions is present.
Next, pick a time to start where you have plenty of time to make a run to the hardware store if you end up needing to. If you are inexperienced, assume it will take you as long as 2 hours to figure it all out and get it looking neat and clean.
If you've done your own work before, you will be able to figure this out pretty quickly. It's about as easy as an oil change, just a few more steps (especially if you have to remove hoses or parts of the bumper for access).

Start by grabbing the instructions and looking under your hood.
Take stock of what you see and what the instructions tell you to do.
As you start wrenching on parts, be cautious not to break anything. You will likely be re-using the connectors and screw holes the original parts used, so be especially careful not to break those.

If you don't already have a solid tool box for general maintenance, I recommend:

Phillips screwdriver
Flathead screwdriver
Blue 3M tape
Duct tape
Hardening Silicone epoxy
non-haredening silicone grease
1/4 size rachet wrench
3/8th size Ratchet wrench
1/2 size rachet wrench
Long Extension for each wrench
Short Extension for each wrench
The following rachet bits:
1/4
7/16ths
3/8ths
1/2
5/8ths
10mm
11mm
12mm
13mm
14mm
Sparkplug socket
Step-up and Step-down bits
Adjustable / crescent wrench
Needle nose pliers
Wire cutters / dykes
Zipties in a variety of sizes and colors
Black grease pencil
White grease pencil
Tin snips
Saftey wire / wire tie

You don't need the last full set of tools for this job,
But it makes most work easier to have that stuff on hand; ready to grab and go.

Good luck with your mod!
Let us know how it goes!
