i have a 496ci (bored and stroked 440) with crane cam 561 lift 191 duration, 13to1 comp, edelbrock low rise manifold, edelbrock heads, hooker headers. carb is 650 performer. looking to re-jet for 5000ft altitude and trying to save some time. has anyone done this already to give me pointers for jet sizes and metering rods

Carb is to small, you're going to need an 850. With 13 to 1 your going to need race gas or e-85 and I would go with e-85 , Holleys e-85 carbs are great out of the box.

Wow.... I agree... That carb is way too Small.....
I'm thinking a 850H.P - 1050 Dominator myself.....

Careful.... Dont burn up that new 496 from being waaaaaay too lean on fuel...
