Hello to all....Time for a new Cam
So some time ago i had been looking for some opinions in regards to replacing the Cam in my 70 Charger.... It's a 383 BB car with 323 gears and a 727 trans street car nothing fancy .
The Engine was rebuilt some time ago and I lost the cam so I am looking at changing out the manifold , cam and carb as it had a Carter 625 on it with a stock manifold.
I bought a Edelbrock rpm manifold and the 3 cams i am looking at are Hyd Flat Tappet 268/272 450/455.......Crower 32241.....or 270/270 470/470
Whats your thoughts...Anyone running a 383 with the same set up in the car that has a nice sound to it and great power with out over kill....
I also had some other notes but i am new to this so i lost them of course ughhh
Thanks

The first one is very close to the six pack cam, I'd like a little more like the second. The 625 will be a good place to start but later a 750 will perk it up.
