hello Im new here
My name is jeremy. I just got me & my family a 1973 duster. It has a 318 auto and it is very clean (no rust). It has 80,000 miles and only one owner. We are wanting to change it into a 350 hp cruiser

i need some info the 73 duster i have has a 318 i know i can get 350 hp out of it but will the auto trans hould it & the rear end needs to be changed to 8.75 but it needs suport (how) i wont to run 12.5 on the rear so ill have to tub the rear body

420 HP @ 6500 rpm with the right combo from a 318 and the stock 904 trans can be beefed up to take 500 or 600 HP no prob but personally I like the 727 for its strength, keep in mind it's 4" longer then the 904 & always go with the 8.75 it's a sure bet

Welcome! Sounds like a good project. From experience, I can tell you that it will keep your calendar full and your wallet empty!
