I"ll be getting pics of both the engine and the car later this week. Hopefuly you guys like it as much as I do. Are there many other Dart Sports here? I did a search, but didn't find much. Thanks again guys.

Actually I just had everything done at once. New cylinder heads, port & polish, bored .040 over. I have the entire build sheet. The engine was totally apart when I picked it up,so new parts were pretty much a must. Im a 19 year old kid, so moneys kinda tight. The body on the car is in great shape, but the interior was completely stripped, so that's what i'm getting to next. I'm just pumped to get everything done. I'll try and get some pictures up tomorrow night. Thanks again for the welcome. See ya guys later

Honestly, i'm not even sure. Everything is being done professionally. I don't have the time or knowledge to do most myself. I'm going in tomorrow for some pictures before they drop the engine in. I'll be sure to check on the pistons though. Any parts that you guys would recommend or avoid?

For a majority of the stuff, yes, but I just want to make sure I have dependable parts. And if I do have to make any kind of replacement, then i'll have some idea of what I should use. I'm heading to town now, so you guys wil see some pics for sure tonight. Thanks for showing interst in all of this. Talk to you guys later.

Sorry the pics are so big. The pictures of the engine are going to be late...took them on my cell phone and they're pretty blurry. I'll take some on a real camera tomorrow. And i'll get the info on the pistons and other parts tomorrow. The builder wasn't there today. Hope you guys like my car.

I'm going to be sticking with the silver color for now. I don't know if i'm going with the black stripe down the side, or just regular racing stripes down the middle. The engine bay is getting painted black this week. Quick question: Anybody know of a newer bucket seat that would still look good in my Dart? I have the original seats, but they're in rough shape. I've been looking, and it would cost more for just the seat covers than a majority of the seats i've come across. And yeah, i'll definetely get back to ya if I come across another one Doc. Thanks again guys and a few pics of the engines will be up tonight.

  1. Really? I'll have to look into those lol..they don't really come to mind when I think of muscle car seats. And about the pics of the engine..my memory card reader isn't working, so I have to make a picture CD thing at walmart tomorrow and then they'll be up tomorrow. DO you guys have any recommended bolt-on performance parts that will help me out? And I talked to the builder of the engine, he said they used Keith-Black hypereutectic pistons.
