Milky Coolant - Intrepid

2002 Dodge Intrepid 3.5 ES - 100,000 mi +/-
Symptoms: getting hotter than normal, not cooling with fan help, milky coolant (pink lemonade color?)
What we've tried so far that hasn't fixed the issue: New thermostat, New water pump, new timing belt (might as well since we were already there)

Does any one have any idea what we should try next to fix the overheat issue?

We are not mechanics but do the work ourselves, cant afford to pay a dealership to work on it and we want to keep our car.

Please help - appreciate any advice!!

Sounds like the transmission cooler let go....
Also check the transmission fluid for the wrong coloring...

Is it milky from oil or is the coolant full of air bubbles? Pull a sample of coolant and put it in a clear jar. Let it settle out. The oil will go to the bottom or the air will just clear out. If its air, likely a head gasket.

Test the fluid

We will give that a try and see what happens to the fluids. I am also thinking head gasket. Thank you for the reply Truly appreciated!
