Interceptors are very nice cars, with very interesting interior and exterior. Tough to restore though. The Mk III with the 440 was actually a lot slower than the Series I and II with the 383's due to the reduced compression ratio. However, as old as these cars are, they may have a rebuilt engine with the higher compression ratio pistons. I hope yours has the 10:1 compression pistons, and hopefully a cam upgrade. That will bring you close to the performance of the interceptor SP.
What is the cosmetic status of the car?
