New Mopar Convert
Hi all,
For a short intro, my name's Mack and I've been a fan of Mopars for years. I'm in college now, and got started with classic cars in high school with a dinky little 1973 "Sports Bug" Super Beetle. That's what I cut my teeth on with working on engines and going to car shows. At a local car show in those days, I discovered a black 1970 Plymouth Road Runner and fell in love at first sight. Stories from older relatives and friends bolstered by interest in Mopar muscle machines and I began drooling over various Dodges, Plymouths and Chryslers at car shows. A few years, a couple cars, and a lot more learning later, I finally got my own Mopar, not a Road Runner, but still pretty cool: the 1968 Dodge Monaco 500 in my avatar.
I have experience with old V-dubs and Oldsmobiles (my last car was a '64 Olds) but not much yet with Mopars, so I will be shouting out for some advice as I progress with my new car. I look forward to learning and hearing stories about all the legendary Mopar machines and getting to talk with other Mopar people!
