Names Matthew just picked up a 74 barracuda and love it I was home on leave when I went to look at a parts truck with my dad and there she was sitting in a field with a gto beside her. I couldn't leave without her so I have the guy 4 grand for her. She was a 318 car but has a 440 that he used to use for racing she has set for 10 years but the engine is free and he said it ran two years ago...haha we will see when I do tear down. I'm getting stationed in Alaska so the car is staying in Oklahoma and will be sent out for body work after I order all the new sheet metal she will need. She needs a new roof as it had vinyl and has a quarter size hole in the roof but I plan on doing a nice restore or restomod on her. Hoping to be a 3 year project so I cam come home to a running restored car. Parents will be taking the car and dropping it at the places I have picked out for the restore of the car. I'll be keeping the 440 and doing a shakers set up o haven't decided color yet. And I'm going thru keisler for a 5 speed set up and for wheels idk something nice and wide on the back changing to the bumpers that don't have the big rubber on the back. Very excited and even better my next door neighbor bought a 70 challenger the day before I brought this home. He has the challenger a grand national thats almost 900 horse and a dodge truck with a mean 360 that's going into the challenger! Pictures of the project are in my folder and if anyone in Alaska has a mopar is love to come hang out and see it !
