Hi folks. First I'd like to say I love this forum. Lot's of knowlege on this board. I've recently purchased a 63 Fury (never buy a car at night in the dark!). It's in need of a lot of help. I'll be going through it piece by piece just a bit at a time and as funds allow, should be fun.

The first question I have is has anyone changed a push button to a floor shift, it has a 316/727.

Cant say I have done that convertion....But a aftermarket floor shifter and linkage will surely do the trick...

 

Welcome to the forum.... Be sure to check out the Mopar of the Month contest.... I have never done the swap you are asking about but I expect Racer hog is right... Any good quality shifter would work and maybe one with a shifter cable might work better.... That's what we use on the race cars .....
