Pre oiling

I just had a new 508 inch stroker built after my 470 dropped a valve.(Hughes Engines installed 3/8 locks on 11/32 valves, claimed no responsibility)
I am preoiling before fire up. I have spun the pump while rotating the engine. I get plenty of oil to all but number 7 and 8 exaughst rockers.(440 Max ss rollers from RAS) Question: while the oil holes are lined up with the cam to either the right or left bank, number 7 or 8(obviously depending on the alignment of the cam) are at almost if not at full lift.(.660) Is that what is preventing much oil from reaching the rocker tips? Will they oil with the motor running? I do get very little oil residue on the roller tips. I don't want to loose another engine.
Thanks

Not Sure...Using push rod oiling holes I take it? Take a look and make sure the pushrod and the rocker hole alignment is rite? Use a peace of parts tag wire to check.

Sorry to hear the 470 issue... Wrong parts can be a bad deal for sure...

Sounds like your describing shaft oiling, if so I would want to remove the shafts to make sure the tube plug isn't in too far and blocking those end oil holes.

Are there any others at almost full lift but still oiling when cam is rotated?

Shaft oiling yes. All the oiling holes are clear. There is a couple at about mid lift and they are getting oil but not as much as the fully closed ones.
