Project Car - 1966 Plymouth Sport Fury

Greetings:

I recently acquired a 1966 Plymouth Sport Fury. It has the smaller 318 V8 engine and I am looking at feedback on things to do to the engine. Anyone working on this type of car?

I look forward to any responses.

Sincerely,

Charlie

PS
I will post pictures later in the week.

Welcome!

There are a lot of things you can do with the motor, but it all depends on what you want out of it. Daily driver? Cruiser? Strip machine?

Welcome to the forum...... Be sure to check out the Mopar of the Month contest we have here....

Tim has already brought up several good questions and I have another one to add... How much money are you willing to spend???? Decide that first and that may tell you a lot of what you will do....

Welcome ! I would start with a good set of dual exhaust. Not headers.

Agreed!
I had my Fury "Abigail" into the muffler shop the first weekend that I had her!
I have done this to anything that I've ever owned with a V8 and even split the exhaust on a V6.... once! lol
