Project Found

Hello, I recently moved from S.CA to a small town in OR. About a month ago while on a walk to our vets I spotted a car that wasn't there before. A white 65' Barracuda.

Had a for sale sign in the passenger window, snapped a pic of it. Few weeks pass and a new sign is now in the back window at a lower price. Didn't ask about it right away because I was debating the original price.

So the info on the car... It's been passed from family members over the years. Last time it was on the road was back in 81' Has been sitting in a garage for the last 15 years. House remodeling is the reason the car was recently moved into the driveway. The original 273 died at 48,000 miles so they dropped in a 71' or 72' 318 back in 81' and then it just sat :-(
Body is straight, the Red interior needs work and all glass is good. Missing the drivers seat but everything else is there. Minimal rust nothing bad though. Comes with all the parts to put it back together. A fresh spare trans, rebuilt drive line, extra glass, tail lights and a bunch of other misc parts.

The seller had others check it out and he said no thanks. Seems they wanted to part it out. I was the only one who wants it as it is and wants to to get it back on the road. Talked price, $3000 seems a fare price .
So it will be coming home shortly right into my garage. Where it will not just sit!

Brought it home a few weeks ago. Started a list of parts needed for it. Found out the motor is a 318 dated 1-2-73. It's missing the water pump pulley and the brackets for the ps and alt don't look right or bolted on correctly. Washing off 30+ years of dirt helped it look a little better.

Early Barracuda 273 motor had a weird water pump opposite side.. Make sure what you want before trying to find brackets. May be why parts are missing ??
