413 to 440 swap

413 to 440 swap

A customer brought me winnebago with a 413 he forgot to put anti freeze in and broke the block I have a real sweet 440 out of a car to put in it I know you can do anything you put your mind to I have put 350 chevy engines into payloaders already anything is possible but will I have a lot of problems with this instal

It should bolt right in. It's the same block.

Well, it will "bolt right in" but a passenger car engine doesn't belong in a motorhome.

First, they need a cam that's compatible with "heavy truck" use, as well as compression ratio.

Are you planning on using the heavy truck heads off the 413? Generally these are easy to recognise by the modified water pump outlets. Generally, these have better valves to put up with more heat.
