Buying a rebuilt 318

The time has finally come; I'm moving from Germany, back to the good ole' USA (Shaw AFB, SC this summer to be exact) so that means Old Red is gonna get his long-overdue overhaul. I've ruled out rebuilding the original engine because as much as I'd love to do that I just won't have the time. I don't need some race-ready crate engine, just a solid, reliable remanufactured engine, something with a decent warranty. Where do you guys recommend going to get a GOOD rebuilt 318?

Thanks for serving and it's good to hear that you will be back home soon!

I would look into the two 360 SB motors these guys offer. They are complete minus carb and headers. If I ever need a motor, I would be considering one of these.

You have to be careful about who you buy from though. Some of these companies that offer reman motors lack the knowledge that is needed to rebuild a quality motor. Most of them, if not all of them, rebuild all brands of motors, not just Mopar.
