Call a dealership and ask if the part numbers cross reference.

Thanks for that . I have a 70 challenger with 5.7 hemi , stroked and supercharged . wanted too build a new engine on the Hemi gen 3 platform , so i am looking for a new hemiblock 6.1 and wanted Thitek heads on it , also this one should be supercharged , my goal is too build a driverfriendly 1000 hp street engine , mabe i go for the new aluminium block , they are not cheap but the best you can get , if somebody have recomandations where too get parts and people too talk with that have experience and "know How" about this engines , Thanks Lars
