Mopar Service Manual/Assbly Manual?

Just bought my first Mopar, a '70 Satellite. I used to restore Corvettes.

What's the best service manual available, and from where?

Also, Chevy published assembly manuals, which I suppose were given to line workers. Are assembly manuals available for older Mopars?

Thanks in advance! Trying to get it right the first time!

I bought a factory service manual for my 69 b body from Year One. I'll bet you could find one there for yours

You should be able to find either paper reprints or "on CD" on fleebay. Around here, at car shows, there's ALWAYS an "old guy" with about a TON of original manuals.

If you don't mind a little playing around, you can download one for free here:

the link:

http://www.mymopar.com/downloads/ser...ice_Manual.zip

Only problem is, these do not use the same "dash" page numbers in the viewer as the original, so you have to "play" with page numbers. It doesn't take long, I just enter a guess, ad 100, subtract 100, etc, until I get closer. Let's say you want the index for section 8, electrical, and you end up on page 8-75. You just subtract 75 from whatever page number your viewer shows, and there you go.

By the way, my all--time favorite Mopar was "back when" I owned my 70 440-6 Road Runner:

Friend, I can tell you that I have a spreadsheet full of forum user names and passwords (I have a lot of interests) and THAT was the best welcome to a forum I've ever had!.

Thanks for the manual link! Now I have too much homework again LOL

Also, I walked down Memory Lane a bit with you. And hope to some more!

Thank you!
