What is the bolt size for a 727 torqueflite trans?

What is the bolt size for a 727 torqueflite trans?

I have a 727 that's gonna bolt up to a 440 but I had my bolts labeled and stored in my toolbox and then my toolbox got stolen!! So now I need new bolts I need to know the size bolts that bolt up to the engine I think there's 8 total? And may be to different sizes at that! Also the sizes for the bolts for the crossmember too! Please help! Thanks

I am thinking 3/8 but don't quote me on that. And I am not sure on the X-member bolts there was a bunch of different sizes for them between the years and between auto and 4 speeds. Sorry dude, someone here will know.

Not sure myself, but make sure you use a grade 8 bolt for the the trans. no cheap stuff.

The bell housing bolts should be 3/8" and about 2" long. Grade 5 is fine. as for the cross member, you will have to measure as each body differs and even can differ between years.
