That all depends on your level of skill as a mechanic.

It's not too difficult with some of the older cars as there is a lot of space to work with.

Just my opinion, maybe someone who has done this can help you.

are the 318 and 360 both magnum motors or are both LA motors? If the 318 is a magnum motor and the 360 is a LA motor then not much, if anything, is going to fit between the two.

keep it EFI for better start up, better throttle response, less time dealing with adjustments. its just easier and better than carb for daily and winter driving.

as long as both motors are magnum motors then yes, the 318 EFI will work on the 360.

92 and up the 239s and 318s are magnums. 93 and up the 360s are magnums. you should be all set then.

I did the 318 to 360 swap a few years back in a '84 RamCharger.

I ran into a problem when I used the 318 flex plate and converter with the 360 motor.

They are different or were different. Internally balanced vs: externally balanced.

Dont know if this holds true on the newer motors or not but would beleive it does. And is something you might want to check out.

The EFI will also compensate for altitude change.

I live at sea level in California and a trip to the mountains or to Hot August Nights in Reno in a carbureted car, means that the car will run rich and totally lose power without carb adjustments to compensate for the thinner air.

The 318 Magnum to 360 Magnum should be a pretty basic swap.

This is true for the LA motors. I believe the Magnum motors are both the exact same minus C.I.
