360 sounds Forked up!

i just got the timing down,and idle cool,now it sounds like something is grinding together on the passenger back side of the motor! any suggestions?

it might be the alternator pulley! it only gets loud once its idled at like 800 rpms or so! idk it just sounded f'd up!

From the rear of the motor ? I would check the inspection plate for the trans. See if the flex plate bolts are hitting and that you have the correct type bolts

there's about a 1 inch gap between the plate and trans housing,and its missing the bottom two bolts! i would of never looked down there! smh this blows
