68 Monaco value

So today I came across a 68 Monaco in British Columbia the guy has owned it since 69 it has very little rust from what I can tell has never been restored . It has a 383 4 barrel carb very little work. Bucket seats. Interior is mostly good and is white body is burgundy with a vinyl roof. I'm just wondering what it would be worth. I'm not familiar with them

Surely it's worth more than that. Or it's just going to be the sentimental value of the story

Sentimental value ? DO a resto and spend $25K and you will have a vehicle worth 15K.. So it depends on what you want to do..

The guy had owned it since 69 he wasn't sure on the value and I thought he might have been a bit optimistic about what he wanted for it. I just came across it on a job I was doing for him and it struck my curiosity a little and I was Wondering on a value on it to see if I decided I want it or not. It was a bit of a barn find I hoped it was something a bit cooler like a cuda or something.

What's he want for it? I'm thinking $1500 or so if it runs.

He said to make an offer. He said he would like 5000 for it I said to much and that I would look into the value of it. I was thinking maybe 1000. He said it runs but I didn't see it go. It hasn't moved in 15 years or so

You will find lots more rust once you start work !!!! THAT can get $$$$ to fix. You would be better off finding an A or B body for $10K that just needs a refresh...

Yeah I know. I'm still deciding if I want it or not at all. I might go back and have a better look at it but probably won't buy it

-- Good idea. - If it has sit for 15 years or more, there's plenty of problems that are not obvious. -- Problems = Dollars, sometimes BIG Dollars.

I agree unless you can get it for free, or he pays you to hall it away.
