a lot is going to depend on which flowmaster you go with, the motor it is for and vehicle it is being installed on.

Your dart - I'd stick with 2.5" all the way back so that you don't lose performance.

Your truck - dual 2.5" after the cats with headers. Look into your state laws, you might be able to just do turn downs after the cab or have it exit infront of your rear wheels. that will increase the sound a lot. Take off the resisnators too, and be ready for the inside to be loud.

super 44 series mufflers too.

 

not for anything i have, a buddys truck - the single or duals would be all 40 series.
