Brands of parts for 440
What's a good brand on gaskets rings and bearings for a 440 also a good brand cam.... and what size would be good for a 440 I want a really low/long lope I'll use a stalled torque converter if needed it's a stock 440 with a thermoquad carb

You have a late 70's 440 (good block, but but no compression with those pistons, which makes most "big" cams are a no-no.
Pick compression with new pistons/crank, then optimize cam and intake/exhaust will follow.
I like the TQ, but more for a small block, than a BB (I know they came from the factory that way...)
A Holley or good Eddy would be a better bet.
By the time you get all the new parts and add in machine work, you might be better off saving your bucks and getting a crate motor.
Not as much fum to build, but easier to drive.

I don't wanna do a major rebuild im going to use what I have what would be a big enough cam to use in it to make it sound good also.... and what brands of bearings gaskets and rings should I use
