Converted BOWTIE man

My brother-inlaw has been a a diehard Chevelle man. He sold his last Chevelle last month. I got a phone call from him the other day and he said do you want to go and look at a GTX with me...

He found this in the local trader paper in the auto parts section.. Add said 68 GTX 440 4sp bucket seats needs restoration.. no price was listed

Restoration my butt its a driver.. Last time it was tagged was 97.. Here is a pic before we loaded it on the trailer..

68 GTX 440 4spd Dana 60 all factory...

HA HA I am with you on that coment... I can clone a 70 ss in my sleep and detroit could not even tell if its real or fake.. Thank god for Mopars vins... Mopars are my number one but bowties are easy to buy and sell fast.. The funny thing is their are more ss cars out their for sale then they ever made.. LMAO.. Enough on that subject,, I might get somebody fired up on here... I will stop by a friend of mines place this week and get a couple of pics of his factory 426max wedge stage 3 car.. I thought his 67 hemi GTX car was bad.., I walked by that max wedge car for 2 years before I ever new what it had in it.

LOL it was a good deal,, But knowing my brother-inlaw being a bowtie man it will be a short time and it will be for sale. I will post it here when that happens. I am not intrested in it, that car needs to be kept as close to original as it can.. Just stay tunned he wont keep it long sad to say..
