Digital timing light, worht it?

Digital timing light, worht it?
I need to buy a new timing light and I was thinking if a digital one will worth the extra expense. I don't know what kind of "extra" stuff a digital one will offer , most of them only seems to be the addition of a digital tachometer

I'm a bit confused...
What offers a digital timing light that doesn't offer a conventional one? All the videos and reviews that I've read talks about the tachometer function, hand protector, blue screen but I don't think that those features can justify more than 100% over price compared to a conventional one
