I think if the 300zx (no turbo) is stock, you should be able to handle it with no problem. The SRT-4 (if stock) would be a close race imho. Might catch you on the top end. If its moded, I wouldn't touch it. I really don't like those micro-machines, but they are pretty quick

You should be able to take that 300 ZX. The Neon will be close but you might still be able to do it.

Here is what i would do...... Get a truck that is built up some and race them tell them you want to race best 2 out of 3. When they beat you the first time, run over their cars and says "opps, I didn't see your matchbox toy car there". Or tell them that you'll race them any time they want any place that you can pick and take them to a dirt road that will get them stuck.

You'll eat that 300z if it doesn't have turbo.

now, the Srt4, if it has any sort of mod, you're in for a tough race. He'll catch you on the top end.

Now, even an un-modded one will keep up with you on those street radials. You're going to just spin them

you could theorize about who could win all day long but the best and funnest way to know for sure is to get out there and do it! If you lose, you lose, if you win you win. At least your out in your car. me in my 65 coronet with stock 318 went against a 2005 mustang GT just for the heck of it, i already knew what the outcome would be.

just ride around with them a few times. one of my friends with a 98 neon with a header, bigger throttle body, bigger injectors, megasquirt computer, cold air intake always talked about how fast his car was. I have an 85 fifth ave with headers, dual 2.5" exhaust with no cats, mopar performance ignition and an open style air cleaner. his car was faster for about the first 20 yards but i think he jumped and i spun a little bit on the sand. anyways i really whooped his little neon that he talks so much about. after i beat him in a drag race and top speed he came up with all kinds of excuses as of why his car didnt beat me. It was too cold, he has snow tires on, his spark plugs are old, he didnt shift right.... My car fouls out a set of plugs in 600 miles and im on 500 on this set right now, I have snow tires, my car is 25 years old. beat those little turds good.

lmbo reminds me of a story my buddy told me, years ago a rich kid in town had a 71 455 S.D. 4 spd t/a . nice car, pretty quick, my buddy had a built 383 in a 73 cuda and automatic. the kids wants to race so they hit the drag spot outside of town my buddy waxes the t/a. they go back into town, the kids livid, cant understand why that heavy cuda beat his poncho, wants to see the motor, my buddy says no, we raced you lost get over it, get another car and come on back. kid says, you cheated, its more then a 383. it wasnt though, just a well tuned 383. kid gets mad and smartsoff well i bet it aint stock... gee kid neither is your 455 . I told you it was built before the race. some people just cant accept the fact theyre car isnt as fast as they want it to bee.
