Cool first show and first drive

I went to my first car show today. It was the first time I had the car on the streets. I just got the plates and registration done but no inspection so I hoped for no cops. It was cool for first show. There were only like 3 mopars including mine. On the way home the bearing in my front right wheel went out and it started storming like crazy. Are the bearings expensive to replace?

I replaced all four bearings in the front of my Valiant for about $30.

Did you get any pics from the show?

Back in the day, I would only replace the inner bearings. but when the car gets as old as yours, replace the outer races also. They all come in the same kit, but you'll need a tool to ramove the outer races. you've gone this far, do it right.

All it takes is a punch and a hammer to replace the races.

If your lucky, I'm not. A hammer usually means that I have to buy two parts that I didnt plan on!

If the race is still good and the brakes are good, then there is nothing to worry about, Install the new bears and call it a day. If you see a scratch/mar on the race, replace it.
