Cooler today here in SO-CAL 97* is going to be the high.. Fewwww.... (Dan, I'll Pick you up and will go to Alaska and go fishing).....lol I like it to stay around 22'C - 24'C.. 72-75* F myself....
Well... Got to run, Need to get out in the garage and find the back seat belts for the Scamp, Went to take the kids out for Ice Cream and figured out I forgot to put the back seat belts in the car.... Must have been my excuse for not letting people riding in the back of the car, because of the tire rub from the wider tires.... heheheheheheheheheheehehehehe.... Im sooooo bad !!!!

 

Beautiful day in North Iowa, low 80s for a high with some rain this evening.

Well today is the day I am going to work on the Neon. Its been a good little turd, 29 to 34 mpg uses a quart of oil in 5000 miles but I just cant afford two drivers. With 105 k on the ticker I shouldn't have to much trouble selling it I've just got to get it clean. I just hate working on it.

Good morning all! We've had some relief from the heat last couple days here in the mile high city and taking advantage of it.

 

Good Morning Y'all... Oh Boy ! You got to love that Colorado weather sometimes? You can get all 4 seasons all in one day... !!!!.... Going to be a hot day here in SO-CAL 92* is what there saying... Going to spend the day with the family up at the pool at our sons place.. Spend time with 7 of the grandkids... Going to be a blessed day for sure.

Was going to the track but my son (driver) hurt his foot at work, not good for a clutch car. Staying at home and who knows what for this day. Got the shifter linkage all done with left and right heim joint ends and rods from snowmobile steering linkage, perfect and looks way cool! We'll test it out next Friday night.

We made an agreement that I am his crew chief and he won't look at any time slips until I say so. First we concentrate on safety, burnout procedure, shifting and no breakage. When he's completely comfortable, then we start Bangin'.

 

Sounds like a winning plan Dan !!!!!!!!!!!

Well it's a beautiful day in northern Iowa today, I've got the boy camping this weekend and we are going to the strip tonight.
Camping and drag racing, just doesn't get better than that.

Well last night was a hit, I have a five year old that has a good eye for cool and knows what he likes.....He is total gear head and all through time trails at the top of his voice he was picking the car he thought was faster, it was a hoot.
His enthusiasm is contagious.
