First Grandchild for me.

Today we got my car up on the 2ft high rolling stand so I can finish the few bits of welding and Shawn can clean and paint the underside before he runs brake/fuel lines and such.

Then I have to finish the tubs and install the quarter panels, not looking forward to being a body man.
You go allot going on there Dan...
Grandkids are a blast.. I have lots of fun with all 9 of mine..
Sounds like making some good headway on the 70 Coronet.. Nice !!!

good morning all. I have been studying a lot over the past couple weeks and on Friday passed the test for my Master Journeyman mechanical. Now I just have to wait until some warmer weather to install the parts for the Jeep. If all goes well should be able to run it one more time at Bandimere this summer.

Yes it is. I got laid off in November from a company I was with for over 3 years. I had not been continuing my education and career because I was working for a good company that was paying me well. Decided I wanted to better myself before I moved on to another company and decided this was my next step. This puts me in position to open my own company which I can run weekends/evenings and have something to fall back on if I ever get blindsided by a company again. I am still in the process of educating myself on all those details. Things were delayed due to some family issues but in the end the delay was very beneficial to me.

Bob a bag of quick set concrete mix is your friend, that stuff around the leak will fix it for years. Works likes stop leak in a radiator.

Morning. Getting my tired bones ready for another day of carpentry work. Yesterday prepared for the beam in Mustang son's basement, removed the wall and it goes up today.

Hopefully all his young strong buddies show up at noon to hoist. Me, don't tell anyone but I am dragging my *** today.

Last one I put up in my garage I did my self, 20 foot H beam through the end of the shop, picked it up with the cheery picker one end at a time and slid it in.

Morning. Can't sleep in anymore like my son, always up at 6;30 even when the alarm isn't set. Hopefully I can recoup today.

Our beam was a tough one like threading a needle, picked up in the middle and slid into place, not my idea of fun. When his wife came home we made like we were planning on knocking out the foundation for a ramp to the underground garage and the beam was for a chain hoist trolley. Not funny to her, at all.
