On call this week, went out on a call, came back and had a nap, so I'm working on my beauty sleep today.

 

I have a Ram 2500 - 6.4 Hemi 4X4 for a company truck. Plenty of power for towing and the best snow plow truck I've had. Only two things I not thrilled about is that it rides rough empty(even for a 3/4 ton) and I dang near need a step ladder to get in the back.

 

I've just been using up the battery in my phone. 😎

 

Good Morning Dan, Good old "On-Call" I am kind of lucky in that respect, I dont get called out to often anymore. It's cost to much to send me out in the field after hours, so they send the lesser paid guys... Hahahahahahahaha

I heard this morning that trafic fatalities involving pedestrians goes up 40 percent on this day. So please be safe in your travels this evening.

Its chilly day at Iowans house today! I was in a chilly cook off last weekend, I managed to get second place but the problem was I didn't get to eat any of the chilly.
so I fired up the crock pot and I'm doing it again.
I like my chilly with fresh vegetables and hot, not burn your mouth hot but after you get a bowl down you realise that your head is sweating and then you feel a burn.
My daughter is vegetarian so when she is here I use no meat and add more of a variety of veggies, Yum and is still hot. Today I'm cooking it for myself so I'm not holding back. Chills , holla pinos and one big onion, sweet peppers and no chilly powder, black olives, tomatoes and salary.
I cook it full hot ( as in full spice hot) for four hours then add meat, brown sugar and a little butter then cook for another four hours.
I like the sweet and heat combanation it brings out the flavor the heat and turns down the wick, just a little.��

I freeze in two serving containers and get it out as needed.
So now I'm off to the store for
chipata bread, cheese and chips.��

On call over, relief. Past week rainy, this weekend rainy, next week rainy, wish it was snow.

Things OK here, not much to report, no news is good news. Wife got the snowmobile trail passes to get the early discount, Shawn has two of them in the shop now getting them ready, my his now RX 1 will need a rear suspension rebuild and a new track, gotta love a 145 hp snowmobile. I ride the little 500 cc maybe 85 hp machine now.

I been trying to stay warm, I let my old, deff, blind in one eye dog out and she decided to go for a walk. You know how dumb you feel yelling for a dog that can't hear?
