Need some help

I have a 1974 Duster with a 318. Changed it over to a 4 barrel carb. Now I am running into it dying after it runs for 45-60 min. engine is not over heating, new ignition coil, new ballast. stumped. Any ideas?

When the engine dies, look into the carb and operate the throttle. See if any fuel squirts out, or if the venturies are wet or dry. That will at least narrow it down to fuel or electric.

Can you give us somemore info. What carb, fuel pump (mech or electric), were you driving and did it quit while idling or under hard acceleration.
