new disease?

i went out on a date today (doesn't happen very often) and my hands are permanently black from working on cars almost every day. I scrub with gojo and a hard bristled brush but it doesn't come out of all of the cracks. The girl i was with asked me why my hands were so dirty. I told her its a medical condition called mopar that does this to you. Its very common in American males. It can sometimes lead to sleeping disorders and in a few occasions an early death. She actually believed me. I'm proud to suffer from mopar.

Thats how Heater was when I first met her. Now she can help me put a motor together and not ask what goes where.

they're not dumb, just on their best behavior - ring probation if you will. you will all catch hell for wrenching all the time and will all hear the phrase "whats wrong with what you have, do you really need that".

remember, they know when to hold em and know when to fold em - whether he was a gearhead or not, all of them have had a father try to pull a fast one with their mom when it comes to their hobby.

it isnt all bleak - it will just come down to the old trade-offs. you want a carb with 25 more cfm, well she wants a purse and shoes to match...
