Please someone give me a hand!
So here is the deal. I have a 2003 Pt cruiser turbo/ SRT4. When I turn on the defrost the idle drops to about 700 rpms. When I’m on the highway and need to get up to speed I get a bogging then it picks back up to speed.
So after several hours of research I started replacing parts. Here is the list of parts I have replaced. Fuel pump, NGK iridium spark plugs gaped at .50, camshaft sensor. IAC motor, throttle body sensor, engine temp sensor, coil, spark plug wires, had the injector tested they all had good flow and spray pattern. Timing belt, upper and lower o2 sensor. It’s not bad gas I use chevron gas only never cheap AM/PM gas.
I could really use some insight on where to look next or a good shop that knows their *** from the hole in the ground that could give a hand. I leave in the Seattle/Redmond area and willing to drive to the place of business.

Has the car thrown a DTC? [diagnostic trouble code], or a check engine light. I dont like to throw parts at things, so I try to help folks to do their homework.

Administrator with a large ban hammer !
The defrost also turns on the A/C compressor for dehumidification, it's a 4 banger and will bog. My Neon R/t does the same thing and has since new.

I test drove a 2009 Sebring a few months back. 4 banger, completely under powered.
How long have you had the car? Is this something that just started or has it done this since you bought it?
