Removable Radiator Crossmember

Got tired of unbolting the transmission every time I pull the motor on my '68 Charger (yes I know you can get it out with the tranny on but you have to get the car so high up in the air to get the tailshaft to clear the ground that its difficult if you are working by yourself). Solution, I made the crossmember above the radiator removable. A few photos attached. Still need to finish welding it up and paint when the weather gets warmer (-11 deg here today).

That’s cheat’n…
I’ve never been a fan of cutting the radiator support it’s the only thing holding the unit body together up front…

A little paint and it almost looks like factory.
