Yup. initial, total mechanical, and vacuum all add. About 32--38, depending on the engine is what you want, wide open throttle, no vacuum. On some cars vacuum at light throttle cruise can add considerably more, on a mild engine might total out over 55*

I wouldn't trust a seller who won't show a picture with the cap off. Looks like junk to me.

Do distibutors from the 80s have a smaller mechanical advance?
