torqueflite help

ok so im thinking that my torqueflite 904 is toast, my question is if i get a "newer" 904 or 727 one can i just swap it in or is there only some 904/727s that will work in my 78 Chrysler cordoba with a 360?
thanks a lot

As long as you get the small block case, then yes it'll work.

But you'll need to get a different driveshaft or have yours cut to fit. IIRC, then 727's require a SHORTER driveshaft, b/c they tailshaft is longer then a 904.

As long as there is a small block V8 in front of it, it should bolt right up.
