Ugh! I'm Sorry! Super *NOOB* Question....
I finally got my FIRST car, FIRST MOPAR, a 1974 Plymouth Duster. As some of you may remember, I'm new to cars as a whole.
I've noticed that MOPARs have ABCDEF body styles? How do I find out what body style my MOPAR is?
Thanks.

You've got an A body! What engine's in that car?

one other tidbit of info that you may find interesting. Of all the years that Duster were made, the 1974 dusters had the highest production numbers. They actually made over 250,000 duster in 1974. I am not sure 100% but I believe this would be the all time high figure for ALL A-Bodies ever made. (specific model in 1 year). To say that the 1974 Duster were a sucsess would be an understatement! I remember back then, everybody had one. {or a VW Bug}

Not quite I do belive the A body line has been around since the 60's and the abodys dominated then market back then as well i could be wrong
well according to what I have read, in 1974, 281,378 dusters were produced.
I dont think any other A-body SPECIFIC model ever exceeded that number.
Think about it, that is a whole sh*t-load of dusters.

well, I dont know how many are left. One good thing about it is they are easier to find parts for, especially at swap meets. now you can even get replacement sheetmetal for them. quater panels etc. great car to work with. good luck with yours!
