What is this noise?

 

Sounds like a air compressor? Does the vehicle have air ride?

 

How do I know if this vehicle has an air ride?
this is 2009 Chrysler Aspen Hybrid HEMI 5.7L engine

 

I have know idea about the air ride it was just a question, it could be ABS or a vacuum pump? It just sounds like a air compressor. I have only looked at one Aspen years ago when they were new, I've never had one in the shop.

What are you doing to make the noise? Are you trying to start it or are just turning the key to the on position?

 

I just open the door and I hear this noise .....I dont even put the key in the ignition or turn on ...
Just opening the door...starts this noise

 

Do you have a sunroof?

 

Yes it has sunroof but this noise is coming from under the remote positive battery post as I showed in video

I have confirmed ...noise is from air compressor but will it cause not to start...remember...by just opening the door..the noise starts.

 

Please read the link I provided it says somthing about the drains being plugged and it makes the noise key on or off, the answer is the clean the drains. Anyhow give it a read.
