Will 1977-400 heads, fit on a 1973 motor home 413
Hello everyone I’m new here and just heard that I can get some well needed info.
Does anyone know if 1977 400 heads fit on a 1973 413 out of a motor home, if so do I use the pushrods from the 400 or the 413, and also how will it affect the compression ratio

Yes as long as it is not an H.D. 413 they will swap.... If it's the taller deck industrial 413,,, the heads are different and won't work...

Bob I’m pretty sure the only difference is the heads, water pump and intake manifold on the industrial 413s. I’m thinking in 77 motor homes had 452 castings heads…
